We have a passion for the healthcare sector and work to create an inspiring and rewarding working environment.
Collaboration
We need to be in teams, but we are also one large team. We like our culture to be one where it is easy to ask for and get help from our colleagues, so we are delighted to help when asked. Sometimes we need 4 and even 6 eyes before issuing a written commentary to tenants, our funds, the bank, or investors, and we know when these times arise.
Professionalism
We have the appropriate skills to deliver. We want to present well, and to use best practice. We address challenging situations early, we ask lots of questions until we fully understand. We own up immediately to our mistakes.
Integrity
Our word is our bond. We never lie. We say less rather than lie.
Openness
We want our tenants to feel like they know what we think. We want our investors to know we tell the whole story, we want our colleagues to understand our expectations, so we tell it like it is. When we are not able to be open we can say that too.
Respect
We have a remarkable window into the frailty of mankind, and the many burdens of life. As fellow travellers in the Journey of life, we respect one another’s abilities, qualities and achievements, with consideration, thoughtfulness and civility. Respect requires listening to another’s perspective and having civil dialogue.
Care
We spend more time with each other than most other people, other than our families, so we develop strong relationships and desire for mutual success, and have compassion when bumps come into our paths. Our tenants have a passion for caring, and we actively support them in being resident and carer focussed.
Humility
We stay focussed on achieving our goals of helping others, our carers, tenants, operators, and investors by delivering on our objectives. We are not boastful of our own or our company’s progress.
Forgiveness
We are human, and make mistakes, or sometimes are careless, or less focussed, or simply miss something. External factors in our lives have an impact on how we feel. We own up to our mistakes, 'freedom to fail', albeit recognising that we need to learn, and it cannot become a habit. So we know we need to give grace to others too.
